Good Boot Just got a pair from Midwest Boots. I needed a new pair of boots for outdoor work here on the ranch. They are lighter than I expected, which is good. They will make a good pair of warm weather boots it appears. The fit was exact. 12 D. Not long or narrow as some have mentioned regarding Chippewa boots. I don't think there will be any real break-in at all. They are comfortable right out of the box. Typical of Chips they are well constructed. Stitching is perfect. Leather is substantial but supple. The Apache coloring is rugged looking and pleasing. Yes, I recommend this product. |

Amazing boot Your boots work as hard as you do. If your looking for a a comfortable lightweight boot this is the one. Working in 100 degrees weather all day unloading straw square bales to cutting wood all day. Your feet won't be sore or heavy at the end of the day. I'm gonna have to buy 100 pair of these to have in case there discontinued. There is no better boot then Chippewa, there expensive but you get what you pay for. Yes, I recommend this product. |

Undecided. I bought these boots after doing quite a bit of research. My initial impression was the leather and general build quality looked great!
I've got ~40 miles on them after two weeks and I'm less than thrilled now. There's a few things that continue to bother me. The left boot is a slightly different size and tight across the forefoot. Upon closer inspection, the eyelets are slightly off-center and continue to dig into just in front of my ankle and the inside stitching at the rear of the boot has unraveled slightly and produces a terrible blister anytime I take them on a hike. The right boot is AMAZING! At this point, I'm wishing they were both made to the same specs, but am hoping I can get this boot broken and able to be used without discomfort soon. Otherwise, they will end up living in my closet and be an expensive mistake.
These boots are very nice and if I were only considering the right boot, I'd recommend them without reservation, but I'm hesitant because of how different the left boot fits. |

Great work boot I've had my pair over a year now. I wear them everyday for work and they have excellent traction and support for hiking aswell. And the price is great especially considering it's a USA made boot. I did wear through one of the toes however. But I've never had a boot not do that so it's probably my fault. Yes, I recommend this product. |

Best Boot's I've Ever Owned. I bought a pair of these boots in the early 2000's and they were still going strong until recently when I let them go due to my foot having widened with age and needing a bigger size. Over those years I never had any issues with them. I wore them hunting, camping, to work and just about everywhere you can wear a pair of boots. It was actually hard letting them go. I kept quality insoles and kept them oiled. Not much else to say, I'll probably just buy a another pair that fits. Yes, I recommend this product. |

Not quite indistructable Today was the first time in the 23 years since I bought these boots that I was disappointed in them. I have worn them for work, hobby and recreation; cutting wood, hunting and cruising timber, and heavy construction field work in hot, cold, rainy and mild conditions. Today in the 120 degree heat of Iraq, the soles separated from the boots. They have otherwise proven sturdy, water resistant and comfortable. I have given them little or no attention outside of the time I wear them, and for some time now people have been commenting on their rugged beauty saying "Aren't you past due for a new pair of boots?" to which I have been confidently replying up to and until today, "maybe in a few years". After much consideration (which included no small amount of consideration of options for gluing the sole back on) I have ordered another pair identical to the old ones with the hope that the Chippewa folks now have a glue that can take desert heat. Yes, I recommend this product. |

Buy American What an incredible boot. I've lugged my ol feet around in a pair of these for over a year now. Working on the rail I'm in a myriad of weather conditions and terrain. These bad boys have held up to the task. I highly recommend this boot for any fellow American. Now, if only yall made military boots. God Bless, SSG. Gillespie Yes, I recommend this product. |

A robust set of footwear To give you some background on where I use them, I wear these to the jobsite everyday and on my weekends, I take them hiking. After a lengthy and uncomfortable break-in period (I'm not sure if the boots broke in or my feet did) I really began to notice how well these boots perform. Once broken in, they've become the most comfortable set of footwear I've ever owned. They flexible and provide ample support. They run a little big though, order a half-size smaller than your sneaker size. The soles and tread pattern lead me to believe they're non-slip although I don't read that anywhere in the literature. The one time I slipped, I was monkeying up an icy 2:1 in the Adirondacks. That was probably my fault. Although I don't go swimming with them, they reliably keep my dry in 4 or 5 inches of water. After a year of regular-heavy use I've had to replace the laces (THEY WERE SHOT!) and I reconditioned the uppers. The uppers were in okay shape after a year, but if you use them as much as I do, then they will need some cobbling.Overall they're comfortable, rugged, and I keep them waterproof. Yes, I recommend this product. |

Bad experience I'm on my third attempt of trying to get a pair of these boots that will fit. They run really big had to get a whole shoe size down from my regular size. But they run really narrow also so had to get a wide fit. Anyway after 3 times of returning and ordering a new size I finally get the pair that fits. But, from looking at them after wearing them for a day or so I realized that they have manufacturer flaws. The right boot is literally longer then the left from the laces stitching to the toe. By a whole quarter of an inch. Which makes it look like one of my feet is bigger then the other. At the end of the day I work my boots hard and that's all they are for, to get beat on at the job, but I paid good money for them and I want a well made pair of boots. Not satisfied. No, I do not recommend this product. |

Great boot! I bought a pair almost 2 years ago to replace my aging (and falling apart) Army recruit boots. Liberal applications of shoe grease keep them waterproof and soft, the comfort level is incredible. They are daily wear in the Fall, Winter, and Spring and for yardwork in the Summer. I'm hoping they'll last for years and so far I have no reason to suspect they won't. Yes, I recommend this product. |

Short Lived Unfortunately I bought these boots shortly after I started my job as a forester in January of this year. They are extremely comfortable, however the sole has started to fall off today. I'm disappointed because they are extremely comfortable when walking through the woods, but I believe got a lemon. No, I do not recommend this product. |

Best Value Boot I've Ever Owned They underpromise and overperform. I wear them motorcycling or on days when the elements are just brutal. I always have grip, feel like my feet and ankles are well supported, and simply skip the top two eyelets when I want a more comfortable fit. Maintenance is a breeze - just clean them and hit them with some Montana pitch blend every 6 months. Highly recommend this boot.Of note - I measure a size 10.5 EE and the 10 EE in this boot fit perfect, so order a size smaller than what you measure on a brannock device. Yes, I recommend this product. |

Solid Boot I have had this boot for about six months. This is a solid boot from the start of the day to finish. Elk country was fine and desert quail conditions are perfect for this boot. I purchased them in the bargain cave at cabbalas for 80$. Yes, I recommend this product. |
